The Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST) is a 28-item questionnaire used as a screening instrument for the abuse of drugs other than alcohol.
ITEM CODING
Each item is answered as either “yes” or “no”. A “yes” response is scored as a “1” except for items 4, 5, and 7 which are reverse coded.
