Quit Smoking Study at UW-Madison

If you are 18 years old or older, you may qualify to be in a research study at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

We are looking for cigarette smokers who are motivated to quit smoking to participate in a study examining the effects of smoking on your body’s response to stress and how it changes following quitting smoking.

Study Location: Brogden Psychology Building, 1202 W. Johnson St, Madison, WI
Study Length: Approximately three weeks
Study Compensation: $20 per hour plus various bonuses for completing the study (up to $350)

If you qualify to be in the research study, you will receive nicotine replacement treatment for up to ten weeks to help you quit smoking.
